South Africa Vs Bangladesh 2nd Test Live Score: Crucial Match for SA

1 Mins read

South Africa is probably leading the two-match Test series against Bangladesh 1-0. South Africa is threatening to break into the top two of the World Test Championship points table after their win in the first Test match in Dhaka against Bangladesh.

The Proteas, who have a home series against Sri Lanka and later Pakistan, presently stand in fifth place in the WTC standings but can easily climb up the table if they bag those games.

With the race of the WTC (World Test Championship) spicing up, five teams are in contention for the top two spots, these teams include India, Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, and South Africa.

The Proteas are ready to set a crack against the Bangla Tigers in the second game at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury stadium at Chottogram. After putting in a fantastic effort in the first game, the audience will be looking to keep the run going.

Noticeably, the Proteas will be without Temba Bavuma after he was ruled out of the second Test because of his elbow injury. Aiden Markram will take the captaincy again. Najmul Hossain Shanto is ready to lead Bangladesh in the test for the final time after having expressed his expectations to step down from the captaincy role.

Before all the actions, here are the live-streaming details of the Second Test between South Africa vs Bangladesh.

The Bangladesh vs South Africa 2nd Test is scheduled to start on October 20 from 9 am IST onwards.

South Africa’s ongoing 2nd Test match is their last away game in the present WTC cycle. Following this game, SA will be hosting Sri Lanka (2 Tests) and Pakistan (2 Tests) at home.

If SA wins all their last five games, they will reach a PCT of 69.44%, and it will be enough to qualify for the final. Only one among Australia and India can go past the PCT of 69.44%.
