1 Mins read

According to the claims of Disney Plus releasing a Home Alone sequel, Cabin Alone, spread over various social media platforms. Supposedly, the movie is the next chapter to the Classic Christmas movies featuring Macaulay Culkin.

Now, reports about the legendary actor’s return to the big screen have made headlines. However, this is beyond the truth. The fact is Disney Plus is not releasing a movie named Cabin Alone.

There is a new poster of the movie “Cabin Alone” that was supposedly casting the adult Culkin is making rounds online. In that, the 47-year-old can be seen staring at the camera as he wears a Christmas-themed jumper. A traditional Christmas tree is also decorated with lights in the background.

The movie poster claimed that the Cabin Alone movie would be released on Disney Plus. The movie plot was also described as “a hilarious adventure” casting Macaulay Culkin.

Disney Plus is not Releasing Cabin Alone movie:

Although, there is huge excitement for the upcoming Christmas, however, the rumours of releasing a Cabin Alone movie are fake. According to Pirates and Princesses, Macaulay Culkin is not returning to the Home Alone sequel.

The Director noticed that neither Disney Plus, nor the film’s production house, 20th Century Studio, have declared that they are releasing Cabin Alone movie,  also repeated this

It seems that the movie posters are generated using AI (artificial intelligence) or Photoshop.

So, it can be said that fans of Home Alone could not see Macaulay Culkin returning to the Cabin Alone movie.

However, this is not the first time that there are rumours of returning Culkin to the series that have spread like wildfire on social media platforms. In February 2023, Giant Freakin’ Robot declared that the child star was set to back to the Home Alone franchise.

Meanwhile, no updates were made for the same online at the time of writing this news.

Similar fake news often leads to many being convinced that it is true. However, netizens often spread disinformation to gain momentary popularity. That is why, it is mandatory to verify such information from reputable and established news outlets such as this website.

Although it doesn’t seem that Culkin will be returning to the beloved Christmas series, it was recently declared that he would be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
