1 Mins read

It’s time for the final countdown! Squid Game season 3 is almost knocking on the door, so the fans of the game are itching to get their hands on the final episodes. This smash-hit South Korean drama gripped the entire globe with its innate and hard-hitting story.

In the last Season,  Player 456 (played by Lee Jung-jae), Gi-hun was reeling from the failure of his strived uprising against the Squid Game. It costs dozens of players’ lives, including a close personal friend.

The drama will now continue in Season 3, with various harsh new games ahead for the surviving players.

Squid Game Season 3 will be released on Netflix on Friday, June 27, 202,5, at midnight PT and 8 am UK time. The new episodes of Squid Game are now available to stream at the same time from any country on the globe.

The Squid Game Season 3 has only six episodes. This makes this season the shortest one of South Korean dramas so far. The first Season consisted of nine episodes, and the second season had 7 episodes.

The creator, Hwang Dong-hyuk, only planned for one season, but he extended the drama due to its huge demand from fans.

Season 3 will continue the story from the previous plot of Season 2. The new Season will focus on Gi-hun’s efforts to end the game. As per the official synopsis, he will achieve his goal despite various complications. The Front Man will continue his activities.

The Squid Game Season 3 has been confirmed to be the last chapter in the series. According to Netflix, the story will be the conclusion of the drama. Both Front Man and Gi-hun will face several setbacks. The fans of the Squid Game can expect the storyline to be resolved in this last season.

Hwang Dong-hyuk, the series creator, said that the new season will focus on what Gi-hun can and will do following all his efforts fail.

He said that Gi-hun is in utter despair after losing everything and watching all his efforts fail. Hwang added that the drama will take an interesting turn, questioning whether Gi-hun can overcome all his failures and shame and get up again to prove the values of humanity. It’s like conscience and kindness can exist in the arena.
