Pedro Pascal’s most recent trailer of The Fantastic Four First Steps hints at a descriptive conflict with Galactus

2 Mins read

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Final Trailer has been released before its worldwide premiere on 25 July. It offers a glimpse of the battle between the cosmic entity Galactus and the family of superheroes.

An exciting battle between superheroes and a cosmic being is established in the final teaser of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. What is featured in the film will take the viewers to Avengers: Doomsday, says Kevin Feige, and it is coming out on July 25 globally.

The retro-futuristic style of The Fantastic Four: First Steps is a 1960s sort of thing. It features Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, Venessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, and Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic. They must stop Galactus (Ralph Ineson), a cosmic entity bent on consuming Earth, and his powerful Herald, the Silver Surfer (Julia Garner), on their next adventure. But that is not all.

The superheroes have to keep their familial relationships, which might be difficult. Matt Shakman directs The Fantastic Four: First Steps, while Kevin Feige produces it and Tim Lewis, Louis D’Esposito, and Grant Curtis executive produce.

Sarah Niles, Natasha Lyonne, John Malkovich, and Paul Walter Hauser feature in the film as well. Pedro Pascal had his MCU debut before Robert Downey Jr.’s Avengers: Doomsday.

Marvel CEO Feige confirmed at CineEurope that Doomsday will be after the events of The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

As per Marvel Comics, Doom is Reed Richards’ greatest enemy and the main villain of The Fantastic Four series. “Avengers: Doomsday” is releasing in December 2026.

A veteran Fantastic Four, already an intimate team, Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm) are seen.

The teaser, against a colourful retro-futuristic background of the 1960s, foretells high emotional stakes, especially when Sue matter-of-factly announces they are having a child. This makes the coming apocalypse an extremely personal experience.

Marvel fans receive their first close-up of Ralph Ineson as Galactus, and he’s just as big and scary as they had imagined. His comic-accurate design, which towers over Earth, foreshadows a real cosmic-level menace that might even equal Infinity War.

Julia Garner’s gender-swapped Silver Surfer, who utters the terrifying phrase, “Your planet has been marked for death,” is also introduced in the video. Social media is already buzzing about her sleek, alien appearance and metallic voice.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is releasing in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu in Indian theatres on July 25.
