Leanne Amaning Exits Love Island All Stars, Citing Personal Growth

1 Mins read

The drama surrounding Love Island All Stars continues as Leanne Amaning becomes the fourth Islander to withdraw from the show.

Her departure follows Scott’s exit due to a lack of connection with Tina, Ron’s departure after struggling to form a connection, and Lucinda Strafford’s decision to leave the holding villa before even entering the show.

Leanne shared on TikTok that she had filmed her VTs and spent over two weeks in the holding villa for this season of All Stars, having flown out on January 5th. However, she returned to the UK last week.

She revealed that it “took so much persuading for me to give it a go and be open.”

Explaining her decision to quit, Leanne stated, “The more the show went on, the less sense it made for me to go in there. And the less I wanted to. Long story short, I’m back in the UK.” She found it “ironic” that she quit, especially after needing “so much persuading” to sign up for All-Stars.

She conveys she is trying to reinvent herself from her villa days and has attempted to put some distance between herself and the drama show.

Leanne, who appeared on season six of Love Island, a winter series in South Africa, reflected on her experience, saying it “wasn’t the best,” which initially made her hesitant about returning. During her season, she coupled with Mike, experienced an “ick” with him, and was ultimately dumped on day 18.

In her TikTok, Leanne emphasized growth, stating, “I’ve grown, I’ve matured; I’m so different now. I’m a little less unhinged. I’m single AF.” Despite these changes, she still chose to leave the show, humorously lamenting the loss of her Duolingo streak and the missed opportunity to wear her planned outfits in the villa.

The Daily Mail reported that another Love Island All Stars bombshell confessed to fans that they ‘couldn’t enter that villa to suffer’.

Leanne’s departure adds to the already messy situation surrounding the Love Island All-Stars. With multiple Islanders leaving before even entering the villa, it raises questions about the casting process and the expectations placed on the contestants.
