Michelle Keegan and husband Mark Wright welcome their first child together

2 Mins read

Michelle Keegan and her husband Mark Wright have welcomed a daughter, Palma, into the world. Palma Elizabeth Wright, Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright’s baby, was born on March 6th. The couple spent a week in a baby bubble before announcing the news with their Instagram followers.

On Wednesday, the couple shared the news on Instagram: “Together we have a new love to share… Our little girl. Palma Elizabeth Wright. 06.03.25.”

A cute picture of their infant girl wearing a knitted poncho was included with the news. The photo she posted to admirers on both of her Instagram accounts did not show her face.

As Palma is the capital of their favourite Spanish island, Mallorca, where they also shot their baby bump photo shoot, Keegan and Wright chose the name because it holds special meaning for them.

To conduct the photo session announcing Keegan’s pregnancy in November, the couple flew to Mallorca for a bit of winter sunshine before Christmas. She said in the description of her Instagram post of their getaway in November.

“Just a couple of days in our fave place before the Christmas build up begins.”

It wasn’t until December that they shared the photo from their baby bump shoot, announcing that 2025 would be a memorable year for them both.

Wright had initially expressed his delight about becoming a father in recent weeks. He told The Sun.” “I’m just excited for the whole process. I’m just really excited and can’t wait for it to happen. A parent shapes you. If you haven’t got a good upbringing, you can still end up being a good person, but if you’ve got good parents, like we have, you’re going out into life [with] a massive head start.

My dad is everything you’d dream [of] in a dad. He’s always put us first, no matter what, whether that was financially or in terms of love and care. We’ve always felt so loved and that’s one of the most important things for any parent – to make your child feel loved and to [let] them know [you’re] there.”

The good news of Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan’s baby was released a few weeks after police were looking into a February break-in at Keegan and Wright’s Essex house. Essex police were notified of the incident by the couple.

With 664,000 followers, their Instagram account chronicles the development of their home’s construction and decoration.

At the time, an Essex police spokesperson stated: “We are exploring some lines of inquiry including but not limited to forensic opportunities, CCTV and witness statements. Anyone with information should contact us as soon as possible.”

After nine years of marriage, Keegan and Wright, a well-known couple in the UK entertainment industry, welcomed a baby daughter into the world.

Nine months after they initially met in 2012, the couple decided they were meant to be together and got engaged in Dubai.

Wright was a reality star on The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) and Keegan was an actor on Coronation Street when they first met. Today, Keegan is a very popular actor who has appeared in Netflix and BBC shows, while Wright has shifted from reality TV to the present.

In 2015, they had a celebrity wedding at St. Mary’s Church in Bury St. Edmonds that was featured in HELLO! magazine.

A marquee in the grounds of the Tudor manor Hengrave Hall in Suffolk served as the venue for their subsequent celebration.

As Keegan pursued her acting career and Wright relocated to the US for his Extra presenting duties, their love endured the test of time. In 2022, they relocated to Essex to raise their family in their forever home.
